Professor James Tooley is Professor of Education Policy at the University of Newcastle, England. His interests are in markets in Education, particularly private schools in developing countries. He is a writer of many books, journal articles and papers, news paper columns, and has appeared in many television programmes around the world. He has been a consultant for the World Bank and the IFC as well as advising government around the world on educational issues.

Dr Pauline Dixon is the International Research Coordinator at the E.G. West Centre, University of Newcastle , England . She has coordinated research programmes in both Asia and in Africa concerning private schooling for children living in poor areas. The research has considered the effectiveness of private versus government schools as well as carrying out surveys and censuses of schools in India, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and China.

She is the Director of ‘The Educare Trust’, Gomathi has worked with professor James Tooley from 2001, for CFBT (Centre for British Teachers) funded project followed by Templeton Research and development project. She has gathered the knowledge of Research Methodology and Techniques of data collection. She leads the team of Research Associates in conducting various research and experiments. She travels around India in providing training and teaching on synthetic phonics. She is dedicated to develop quality education in low income areas of the country. Apart from research work, she also co-ordinates the scholarship and micro-finance programme. She along with Professor Tooley introduced Voucher scheme and Micro- Finance in Hyderabad and it is running successfully.

Paul Saran has been with The Educare Trust since 2003. Paul is Marketing Manager for The Educare Trust. He is involved in marketing of Jolly Phonics English literacy program and computer program along with Dr. Sugatha Mitra. This Project is carried out in rural and urban schools of low income areas. He started up his career as Research Associate and also conducted traning and mentoring of teachers. At present he co-ordinates the team of Research and marketing.

Yogeetha is managing the team of Research associates working in Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda and Charminar zones .She is training in jolly phonics and involves in conducting, training and Mentoring of Teachers. She is also specialized in SPSS, statistical package & also coordinates the International research program

She has a great zeal to work with private schools serving the low- income families in the old city of Hyderabad . She has the professional in building up rapport with the school manages. She is mostly involved in the office administration and staff management. She is also responsible to maintain data base of all the schools in 3 zones of Hyderabad (Bahadurpura, Charminar, Bandlaguda)

He is an experienced accountant dealing internal audit. He is looking after Educare trust accounts of various projects like Loan scheme, Research, Scholarship and Literacy Programme. He also takes care of Income Tax matters.
